Chef Jennifer Hughes' Gingerbread Spiced Pecans

Makes about 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Mammoth Pecans
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp paprika
  • 1 dash salt
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all spices together with the brown sugar and maple syrup.
  3. Add the pecans and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Spread pecans out on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
